Vintage Masai Beaded Earflaps Ethiopian Africa
Handmade One pair of vintage 1960’s beaded earflaps made by the Masai tribe of Kenya. Masai women sew glass beads onto leather strips to make these ear ornaments. Worn through large holes at the bottom of the ear. SOLD AS A PAIR ONLY; each earflap is 6" long x 2.5" wide. The beads are in very good condition. bead-work has been valued as currency, as decoration, and as a marker of identity.
